Having your own business perhaps is only just a dream for most of us. Owning your own business is not always about fun and games. The interesting fact that you don’t have a boss is a nice idea, but your customers are your boss. When you work for your own business, you need all the skills and capitals to start and funds your own business. Set in the blood, sweat and tears, and all the necessary things. For some folks is what a business become their primary instinct. Continuous learning is necessary to start and run your own business. Most of your business operational is different than your 9-5 day job. So you can get a view and perspective of owning your own business. There is a list of ups and downs of running your own business that you will find below.
Payment checks or Payslip - it is a thing of the past. If you are not having name of your won and established yourself in place and a venture capital company to convince them, you (not recommended for various reasons), the stable support payments are the norm. It is both exciting and scary. The worst thing after leaving the service or sale is to pay a particular product that companies are slow to pay small suppliers. You have to keep up with demands.
You must take into account health insurance. Regardless of the situation in your business, never go without health insurance. Without health insurance, is a sure way to fail.
No boss - which is very nice. Before opening my own company, had one employer, whom I loved and internships and employers. However, I felt my second has not had a vision, was complacent and do not fit well. If you have a big head and a huge industry, I sincerely recommend you go to the path of getting to business ownership - especially if you are young. In my opinion it looks good on a resume.
Continues Learning - I love this part. If you own your own business, in order to be truly effective, you must continue to learn, learn, and learn a little more. To start your own business, you need to know accounting, sales, selling techniques, consulting, and other hassle and bustle of starting your own business. In particular, it is my belief that in 2010, no company can be competitive without a strong internet or online presence.
Creativity - Many 9-5 daily jobs will put your brain to sleep. If owning your own business, you are always looking the way and try new things to generate income. The more creative you are adventurous and in the implementation of these plans, the better the result will be. The general rule is that you should not be afraid to fail. I run two businesses and a consulting firm, and even today, make mistakes. The errors you get along the way are good for you, as long as you don’t do the same thing over and over again.
Deciding to own your own business is to get focus in the path you choose. This is the best job and the good paid income you will get compare to working your daily office job. Besides some pros and const that I have listed above, being an entrepreneur has a lot more positive aspect than negative.
